The Rev. Mark Brockmeier and the Rev. Rob Grabill present the NH Conference Environmental Justice Award to Dianne Fallon of Windham at a recent event sponsored by the Friends of Moeckel Pond. Rev. Brockmeier, the Pastor and Teacher at the Community Congregational Church of Greenland, nominated Diane for her extraordinary work in organizing a decade-long community effort to save a vital link in the area ecosystem. Rev. Grabill is the Chair of the Environmental Justice Mission Group, which selected five Environmental Justice Award winners this year, announced at the recent Annual Meeting. They are all awarded at local churches and events, maximizing exposure and press coverage.
