Brand Guidelines

Brand Identity Overview

The New Hampshire Conference of the United Church of Christ, NHCUCC, prides itself on its mission to help lift their Churches and Congregations and give them important tools to succeed. By showing a consistent brand NHCUCC can be clearer, efficient, and protect its reputation, allowing NHCUCC to spend less time focusing on how outsiders may perceive the conference. The following Brand Guide will set the standards for NHCUCC’s beliefs, logos, typeface, and color pallets as approved by the Conference Board of Directors.

Beliefs

Mission

Worship, work, and pray with the congregations of our Conference and with mission partners in our denomination and throughout the world, so that together we practice the love of Jesus Christ.

Vision

A world that seeks compassion, justice, and peace for all people through the love of Jesus Christ, a faith that celebrates the Holy Spirit as the source of joy, growth, and healing, and a church that offers to all a dwelling place with God and for God.

Purpose

The New Hampshire Conference of the United Church of Christ, by act of the gathered Conference, has declared and committed itself to be an Open and Affirming Conference and a Racial Justice Conference. We seek belonging, valuing, and justice for persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, races, ethnicities, nationalities, abilities, and economic classes, in the life and ministries of the church.

NHCUCC Logos

Logos are the most visible tool the NHCUCC can utilize in its branding. When possible, use the NHCUCC logo on social media posts and documents to help spread brand awareness.

Primary Logo

The NHCUCC primary logo consists of a two-tone waving pattern, known as the "Waves of Motion" in the shape of the state of New Hampshire, the UCC "God is Still Speaking" comma. and includes the words "New Hampshire Conference United Church of Christ" and the tagline "A Just World For All".

The blue logo uses UCC Dark Blue and UCC Light Blue to create the wave. When applicable use the blue logo. When necessary, such as when printing documents in black and white, use the black logo to insure a monochrome look. You may also use the white logo when at least a 3:1 contrast ratio is produced with the background (see "Design Resources" section for contrast checking tools).

Secondary Logo

The NHCUCC secondary logo consists of the "Waves of Motion" and includes the letters "NHCUCC". This smaller design allows for use in projects that may have a smaller canvas size. For example, being used in social media posts as a brand indicator.

The blue logo uses UCC Dark Blue and UCC Light Blue to create the wave gradient. When applicable use the blue logo. When necessary, such as when printing documents in black and white, use the black logo to insure a monochrome look. You may also use the white logo when at least a 3:1 contrast ratio is produced with the background (see "Design Resources" section for contrast checking tools).
