The qualities sought in this leader: She or he relates comfortably with children, youth, and with their parents. This person practices a Christian faith, integrating theology and spirituality with their life as a faith leader.
Responsibilities will be focused on developing, coordinating and facilitating Christian Education programs for all ages, with a focus on youth ministries. A particular focus will be on outreach and inclusion to seekers, non-members, and lapsed church families within the community.

Thriving Congregational Church in downtown Manchester NH seeks an enthusiastic and organized Children and Youth Education Coordinator for 12-15 hours a week. CE Coordinator is responsible for the leadership and guidance of our Sunday School program for pre-school through eighth grade students. Person must be strong in building relationships among parents, teachers, volunteers, and the larger congregation to bring vitality and growth to the program. Strong candidates will possess excellent communication skills, including social media, and organizational skills; and be computer proficient. Teaching and working in children’s ministry experience are a plus. References and a successful criminal background check are required.

This is an interesting position in a downtown church office with diverse tasks for a detail-oriented person with good communication, organizational, and customer service skills. The approx.10 hour a week position includes playing for a Sunday morning choir rehearsal and church service, and a Thursday evening choir rehearsal each week. In addition, there are a few special services throughout the year. Previous organ experience is desirable, but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
