Open and Affirming (ONA) Churches The central affirmation of an ONA congregation is that "gay, lesbian and bisexual people" (or "people of all sexual orientations") are welcome in the full life and ministry of the church.
Just Peace Churches This designation affirms the church to be a Just Peace Church, defining Just Peace as the interrelation of friendship, justice and common security from violence. Places the church in opposition to the institution of war.
Ukama/Partner Churches These churches have voted to partner with member congregations of the UCC in Zimbabwe, Africa.
