As one of two Conference Commissions, our charge is "to assist local congregations in continuing to develop vital and effective communites of faith, as they seek to equip persons to be faithful disciples of Christ. We seek to support the Conference and its congregations in the areas of education, youth ministries, and leadership development."
The Commission (CCL) is responsible for administering grants, the Bicentennial Fund (the Revolving Loan Fund for Churches, the two part Local Leadership Development Fund for laity and clergy) and Support for Small Membership Churches. Brochures may be found on the Commission's Annual Meeting display table. Small Church Grants were given this year to churches in Harrisville/Chesham, Webster and North Barnstead.
